Network Team
Network Piano Carriers has a team of over 15 professional piano relocation experts who are fully trained in all areas of piano and musical instument relocations. Every day of the week they transfer Uprights, Pianolas and Grand Pianos in specially equipped trucks.
Training and Development
Network Piano Carriers' road crews have extensive skills in areas such as logistics, transport and truck-driving, heavy-lifting and warehouse support.
Their relocation skills are developed through weekly relocation training sessions, using our static training straircase and a number of different training pianos. Investing such a large amount of time in the teams' development and training ensures that we uphold the best possible work safe practices.
We also have qualified piano technicians teach our road crews about the internal workings of the instrument. This gives them a greater appreciation of the fragility of over 4500 moving parts in this finely crafted musical instrument.
Our advanced training program enables us to trial and implement safer and more efficient ways of relocating pianos, and ensures that road crew members are proficient in a new procedure before they apply the techniques out on the road.
Equipment
Medium density housing and changing building regulations have seen an increase in piano relocations involving high-quality equipment such as cranes, forklifts, genie lifts and other specialised relocation equipment.
Our purpose built relocation vehicles are fitted with level and tilt hydraulic tailgates and carry a large amount of specialised piano relocation equipment.
Inspections
Network Piano Carriers' highly trained and ticketed staff are able to complete site inspections which ultimately give clients accurate relocation information and cost quotes. This enables clients to make informed decisions before renting or buying a piano, and assists in making the decision to move house or purchase a new property.
